TESTIMONIALS
Here are just a few of the
comments we have received. These are all real people who
have either hit, demoed, or have already added Advanced
Golf's clubs to their bag.
The New Fairway Driver is a Big Hit!
Tom O., Huntsville, MD.
A serious golfer, Tom took delivery of his first AGT club in
June, 05. When he first heard of our hybrid driver, he
questioned where in his bag a club like this would fit? Tom
took delivery of his Fairway Driver in 9/06. His first time
in play he had difficulty hitting it off the hard pan, rye
grass on his home course. (any wood is difficult to hit off
the hard deck). It wasn’t until he took a cut on the First
Rough. “With a little bit of grass underneath the ball, I
was amazed at the result. Off the tee, driver accuracy, at
these distances, isn’t this good. When I made contact with
the Fairway Driver I knew I caught it right. It felt “soft,”
the way a driver feels when caught on the screws. Straight,
on a rope, I drove the ball 270 yards! Off the fairway,…270
yards wasn’t something I could do when I was younger (I
understand Mr. O to be 55). I later repeated the drive with
a second fairway blast over 260 yards. “I could tell the
ball came off the club face differently then with the AGT 3
wood. Its spin rate was much lower then the 3. The ball hung
in the air longer then the 3 and rolled little, if at all,
when it landed.” “That’s when I knew I had to find a place
in my bag for the FWD! I have since, used the FWD off the
tee.” With the 43 inch shaft, my accuracy is much better
then the 45/46 inch driver. It is not as long as the Aurora,
but not every hole requires a monster blast. I am not sure I
can use this club at every course I play; but I have not
played it at any other courses, yet.” Not everybody plays
tournament golf, so carrying a 15th club in you bag isn’t a
big deal.
We do have golfers hitting the FWD successfully off the
hard pan. It does take a little finesse. Once a player
realizes our advanced face geometry does not require contact
to be exactly in the center, play becomes much easier. With
advances in golf club technology and the capability of
sticking 230+ yards blasts onto the green, we feel there is
a definite place in the golf bag for the AGT FWD
Michelle P. Phone-in testimonial. My significant other
has been helping me with my game. I can’t get the ball off
the tee with any distance. When I concentrate on distance I
can’t hit the ball straight. When I try to hit the ball
straight I can’t hit it with any distance. When I play,
everyone tees up off the first tier. It’s embarrassing, but
I love the game. I can understand why my father played so
much, so late in life. Last Friday I discovered a brand new
AGT Fairway Driver red dot in my bag. I discovered it when
we went to the range to warm up. Long story short; after a
few days and 4 or 5 buckets of range balls, I am 40 yards
longer off the tee and straight as an arrow. Thanks,
Michelle P.
Aurora Driver
"Only after switching to the Aurora/AJ Tech
driver did I realize how much distance I was giving up. I am
absolutely bombing this Aurora driver. I can't wait to add
the fairway woods I hear so much about. Tim Oneil,
Nationwide Tour Pro. after hitting low round at the
Nationwide Panama tournament. Update Feb. 8, 2006; Tim Oneil
reported, with his Aurora 8.5 driver, his driving average
has increased by 40 yards over the 460 Titleist and Ping G5
he was hitting. The Supernova 3 wood was going 280 and the 7
wood 240. With a 5 wood at 260 his bag will be a "tour de
force" this season. Expect great results from Tim in 06. Tim
is one of the players to watch this season.
E Mail: I just got back from Kansas City showing our new
(Aurora) driver to the Pros in the area that I currently do
a great amount of Business for their outings. They were very
impressed with the Aurora driver. It was tested against Titleist, Ping, Callaway and Nike …on the launch monitor we
outperformed every company in launch characteristics by over
15 %. We had less backspin and a higher launch angle which
creates about 12 yards longer in distance from the
competitor. …I'm looking forward working with you this year
to get your fairway woods and driver to become household
names in the golf Industry.
Thanks, Randy Hockenberry
Bob Neilsen: I received the Supernova woods
and got to play them this past weekend. Not having spent
more then a few minutes warming up I was careful not to over
swing. I set up carefully and gave the 3 wood a nice easy
swing. The moment I hit it I knew this club was something
special. The ball went 220 and dropped right into the cup. I
hit a hole in one! Everyone went crazy. This was only the
second time I have ever hit this club! Now, what do I do
with it? Should I expect a hole in one every time I play it?
Thanks for the great equipment. This is one day I'll never
forget.
E Mail; Hi Steve, I received my new Aurora and am thrilled with the first
day out. I hit 20 balls like frozen ropes on the range,
swinging as hard as I wanted. I then teed off on #1 and
nearly drove a par 4, at least 20 yards past anything I've
hit of the dozen drivers I tried. My drive caused the
foursome on the green ahead to all look back to try to
figure out who hit this monster drive! I am convinced there
is dynamite in this driver. J. Peters, Little Chute, WI
E Mail: Steve, I just got to play with these Supernova
woods. Man, they kick butt. I hit the 7 wood 170-180 WITH
control. Let me tell you that's a new experience, making Par
3's, birding holes. The 3 and 5 have consistently put me on
the green in 2. Now, if I can only learn to putt! I have
never been able to hit woods so forgiving, so long and so
consistent. Regards, T. Gardner, Mustang, OK
Mail: Hello, Steve, I got my AURORA driver today and
headed right to the driving range. Thank you so much.
I will tell everybody about your clubs and the great service
your company provides. At least I can say I got your clubs
before you guys got famous, because, with the clubs that you
sell you won't be "The Best Clubs You've Never Heard Of."
You'll be: "The Best Clubs Everyone's Heard Of!"... Keep up
the great work! M. Malone, Cincinnati, Ohio
We received a phone call from the West Coast
representative of Golf Digest magazine. He wanted to
congratulate us for being chosen to appear in the upcoming
issue of GOLF DIGEST's 2005 HOT LIST! He went on to explain
how our AURORA driver impressed everybody. They branded us
as having the BEST DRIVER no one has heard of--YET!!
Advanced Golf Technology wants to congratulate
one of California's top Senior Armature Champions, Mr. Steve Yavorsky, for his win at this years California Match Play
Tournament. This was Steve's first event with our new Aurora
Driver in his bag. Note: This was NOT a Senior only event!
Steve went up against some of the country's hottest young
hopefuls.
Everyone at Advanced Golf Technology is proud to
congratulate one of its most recent converts who, after
adding the AURORA Driver, Supernova 3 and 5 woods to their
bag, hit a bogey free, course record 62 at the 2004 PGA
CHRYSLER Classic!
Hi Steve, I got a chance to hit the
new 3 wood you sent me and can not believe the yardage. It
is 20-40 yards longer then my other 3 wood. I could tell on
the first swing just by the ball flight. It is as long as my TaylorMade 580XD driver. I hit the ball to the same location
I hit my driver... and it was only 48 degrees outside! I
know I can hit this 3 wood even further when the weather
warms up a bit. I can't wait to try the new Aurora driver.
Thanks, Kevin Manske
I christened my new
Aurora driver Mate, and it is absolutely awesome. I shot a
41 on the front nine today hitting my Aurora 30-50 meters
further then my other driver. So, now I have to adjust my
short game a bit because I have dropped 1 or 2 irons on some
holes do to the EXTRA DISTANCE from my drives. I found I am
not slicing the ball at all, which is great. The feel of the
club is exceptional, so light and easy to swing. I love it!
Cheers for now! Tony Brooks Qld. Australia Note: After the
UPS office in Australia lost Tony's club for 5 days I must
say I was glad to hear Tony was so happy with the Aurora
driver.
I received my order from Advanced
Golf Technology yesterday and I would like to say that your
company did not send me what I ordered. I ordered a 15
degree Supernova 3 wood and someone must have accidentally
placed a Sledge Hammer in the box. When I went to the range
I was able to absolutely hammer the ball straight down the
middle. Even on off center hits, the ball was still in play
and long. I compared it to my current 3 wood and it was not
even close, neither was the guy beside me hitting his
Callaway driver. When I showed the guys at work some
articles about your clubs everyone was wondering if all the
hype was true or were you paying people to say great things
about your clubs. I decided to be the "Guinea Pig" and order
one of your clubs. People, I'm here to tell you, I paid my
$249 and the $8 shipping charge and this is the finest golf
club that I have ever held in my hands. Thanks Steve, you
made a club that is beautiful, long, forgiving, affordable.
It hits long off the fairway like it was on a tee and it
makes the sweetest sound you'll ever hear on a golf course.
One more thing; I'm going on a golf weekend with some guys
next week and I would like to give them a little advice.
"You better tee yours up on the ladies tee!"
Jon Brown, West Union, SC
Re-Max World Long Drive Qualifier 2002, Adam Pilchman, "OOOOYeah! The club is unbelievable. Can you
believe I am driving the AURORA 8.5(shafted with a 46inch
Harrison Pro 2.5 XX shaft) as far as my 48inch competition
club! This AURORA is, without a doubt, the best driver I
have ever hit! With a minimal warm up I was hitting them as
straight as an arrow. But, man is this club long!" ---Before
I had gotten a word in, he began negotiating to keep the
club!
*2004* GOLF DIGEST, February issue "HOT LIST 2004," page
87; Editors Choice, Golf Digest's lead Equipment Editor,
Mike Stachura, rates ADVANCED GOLF TECHNOLOGY his #1 choice
for America's Hottest Fairway Woods! The Golf Digest List
puts Advanced Golf Technology Supernova Woods as the LEADER
above such renowned names as Callaway, Mizuno, Sonartech,
Taylor Made, Titleist and Tour Stage!!!
PUB LINKS GOLFER magazine gives the
Advanced Golf Technology Supernova Series the HIGHEST 1-10
rating EVER given a set of woods since the inception of the
magazine! These clubs were tested by more then 10 different
armature to professional players. They ALL found the clubs
to easily out drive ALL of the other top clubs in the study
by MORE then the 20+ yard claim!!
Equipment Editor, Golf Today Magazine had this to
say: "I played with your 3 and 7 woods today. I shot one of
my lowest scores ever! The clubs have a great, solid feel
when hitting the ball. I can work the ball with much less
effort than ever before. Distance was an average of 18 YARDS
FURTHER than my new Taylor fairway metals! At the beginning
of my round I found that I was hitting shorter irons onto
greens than ever before. Accuracy was incredible. I also
found that I need to play your clubs a little farther back
in my stance. I discovered this after topping a tee shot.
The 7 wood however, got me on the green and I made a birdie!
You have a winner my friend. Every Golfer should have the
experience I had today." signed, Charley Coppola, Product
Editor: Golf Today Magazine
PGA Tour Pro, Jeff Sluman adds the Supernova
Series 3 wood to his bag. His comments were, "This is by far
the longest, easiest 3 wood I have ever played. It has found
a permanent place in my bag!
*Brad Elkan. Brad placed a call to AGT between holes, while playing in a amateur
golf tournament. He was ecstatic. He had just hit his first
Eagle during competition! He informed me he was using the
Supernova 3Wood off the tee, hitting drives of 280 yards. It
was further then his driver! "The Supernova 3Wood was
longer. And, being a fairway wood, it was much easier to
control."
Brad won his division of the City Championship Tournament
and finished 3rd overall. His Supernova Series Fairway Woods
replaced his Callaways. "They are longer, straighter,
better. The 5Wood is the straightest club I have ever hit!"
Brad has his choice of clubs to hit as he is in charge of
Customer Accounts at Penley Golf Shaft Company. We are proud
to have such a gentleman playing Supernova's. Brad has been
instrumental in spreading the word about his Supernova's!
With his Penley shafts and our Supernova's there is a lethal
combination "Now Par just isn't good enough."
*PGA Tour Pro,* Fulton Allem, So Africa, #3 Ranked Tour
Player 2002 in DRIVING ACCURACY. Considered one of the best
ball strikers on the PGA Tour, Fulton plays the 3 and 5 wood
when on tour. He made the switch because of the super hot
face and extra distance the Supernova Series gives him. "I
wanted clubs that don't deviate from my accuracy, but can
return superior distance. The Supernovas do that."
*Steve Yavorsky,* So. California's Top Senior amateur
player. Mr. Yavorsky is a gentleman. His game is on par with
that of most tour players and he represents all of the fine
qualities "Golf" should instill in all of us. His love for
the game and commitment to excellence allows us the
opportunity to have our clubs evaluated and played to the
absolute limit of our designs. He is not swayed by the brand
name on the bottom of the club. If it works it will be in
the bag, period. His fine mechanics allows him to repeat
each shot and is a joy to watch. Immediately after making
the switch to the Advanced Golf's Supernova Series, Steve
won a prestigious Amateur Championship. Below are some
letters he has written us.
I wanted to take the time to send you a letter of
testimonial regarding your Supernova 3 wood. Penley Golf
Company recently made me four different 3 woods, a Callaway
VFT, a Callaway Hawkeye, a Orlimar 3 wood plus and your
Supernova 3 wood. I took these clubs to the range and tested
each. Without question, your clubs outperformed all of them.
It produced a much better ball flight, carried further and
had a much more solid feel. The reason I can vouch for this
comparison test, is that each of the clubs had the identical
Penley shaft. Additionally, this club solves the problem of
dual usage off the fairway as well as the tee because of its
higher profile. As a side note, I placed your clubs in my
bag, played the next week in the Los Angeles Senior Amateur
Championship, and won by five shots. Best of luck and
continued success with your outstanding product. Sincerely,
Stephen T. Yavorsky
2NDLETTER
Had an opportunity to fully test the five wood
on Friday at Rancho Santa Fe Farms. I compared it against Orlimar+ five wood and Callaway Hawkeye 5 wood, all with the
same Stealth 80 XX shaft. The Supernova 5, like the
Supernova 3 wood, has a more consistent, solid feel than the
other two. It is less "tinny" or "hollow" sounding than the
Callaway especially. At 20 degrees it came off a little
higher than the Orlimar, but with no loss of distance. It
has a more consistent shot disbursement, notably, compared
to the others, specifically eliminating the one in 10
"rocket shots" that is sometimes launched by the Orlimar
club. The higher profile of the Supernova does make it much
easier to hit a shot off of a tee in case that is ever an
option. With the Orlimar, that is not a viable option with
their club (too low profile). Overall, "tops in performance
and feel" from this forged club, but I have to admit that
the Supernova 3 wood is the real winner for versatility and
performance available anywhere. You can't beat these for
being the hottest fairway woods around! Tee it up for tight
holes, work it in either direction and bring it in high if
needed. These are now permanent fixtures in my bag. Looking
forward to testing more of your designs.
Steve Y.
Note: Yesterday, ...we spent a session at the
driving range with Steve Y. He tested our new 7 wood and our
latest prototype driver. The session just reaffirmed what I
already knew; our 7 wood is amazing! So effortless, it is
actually fun to hit! You can't hit a bad ball with it. I
also knew the technology in our new, patented driver face
would prove to be a giant leap forward in titanium club head
design. Our new "Aurora Series" driver proved to be 15 to 20
yards further then the Taylor-Made 500 Series and Callaway's VFT driver. Our Aurora Driver is built to be USGA Conforming
even though those who had the opportunity to hit it swear it
is too good to be a legal design. We will post the USGA
letter when they have completed the evaluation.
*Bob Cisco, So. California, On Air Host of "Tee It Up"
ESPN/KABC Golf Radio, Author: ALL ABOUT GOLF , PGA Pro
Instructor. We received this letter from Bob after he had
our clubs for quite some time. He tested and evaluated the
full set before he voiced this response.
Dear Steve, the Supernova woods are by far the best metal
woods I have ever experienced. And I am not one to
experiment with lots of different clubs. Super feel off the
ball! And the club's finish is stunning! I really launch the
ball well with the driver and the three wood, powering the
ball with both, deep down the fairway. As a pro, PGA Tour
instructor and a talk show host on ESPN, KABC's "Tee It Up"
Golf Show, I have a very critical eye towards equipment. I'm
in a position to review the top woods and irons in today's
market place and I can tell you this, as a golfer and
player, these are the best feeling woods I have hit in a
long, long time. From a feel standpoint, they have a more
solid feel coming off the ball at impact. My shots are
longer and I can swing smoother with less effort, yet get
real power as the ball really "jumps" off the face at
impact. I experienced this with all of the clubs in the
line. I am getting, on the average, 15-25 yards more
distance with the Supernova's driver and three wood. The
five wood adds the special dimension of carrying the ball in
high and soft onto the green, which is great when you need
to bring the shot in high and get it to settle quickly, with
hardly any roll. And, the seven wood is, without a doubt,
one of the most versatile, pure feeling clubs I have ever
owned. I also liked the feel of the OEM shafts. Mine were
made by the Penley Company for AGT. They are high grade
graphite shafts designed for players, like myself, who don't
swing over 100 miles an hour. And I do know they have the
advanced player and pros covered nicely here too, with their
Pro Line Shafts for more aggressive swingers. My golf
students are experiencing similar gains with distance
without having to sacrifice accuracy. They also love the
ease the five and seven wood provide when it comes to
hitting to the green from longer distances. They hit the
Supernovas in our "How to Harness Effortless Power" Golf
Workshops and have big smiles on their faces. Some don't
want to quit at the end of the day and we have to pry the
clubs from their hands! Really. I would give the Supernova
woods by Advanced Golf Technology very high marks for a
quality product. They honestly do enhance your golf shots
and stand a step above the rest in the competitive world of
club making. I tell people, "Don't ever ask to borrow my set
of Supernova woods," I'd be afraid I'd never get them back!
sincerely, Bob Cisco, www.allAboutGolf.com
*While visiting Eaton's Golf of Tustin, Cal., one of our
dealers, a golfer, came through the door holding a Supernova
Series 3Wood. With a smile from ear to ear he proclaimed
loudly, "I just hit a 3Wood 270 yards!" He just finished
demoing the club at the local driving range. "A 3Wood 270
yards! Can you believe that! 270...at least!" Now, he had no
idea I was the owner of the company and am the clubs'
designer. There was a pretty good group of golfers already
in the store. It was a good feeling for me to see all of the
golfer's step up to the man clutching the 3Wood to hear him
describe how "sweet" the club is. He purchased the 3... a
week later he also picked up the 5Wood.
Michael B. of Phoenix, Arizona wrote, "I never used to
use a 5Wood. Now, I couldn't imagine playing without it.
Since purchasing the set, I have been driving the ball like
the pros I see on television! I never thought I could hit a
ball like that! I use the fairway woods every chance I get.
They are solid. When I hit the ball it goes where I want it,
straight and long!"
Paul S. University of California Irvine NCAA Div1 Head
Golf Coach. "I resist change, so I didn't make the switch to
the Advanced Golf Technology, Supernovas clubs right away. I
kept the 3 and 5 in the bag but rarely used them. However,
when I did use it I started to notice the extra distance
wasn't just a "Lucky Bounce" here and there. It happened
nearly every time I hit them. 5 yards, 12, 15...once I got
more used to the feel of the club, I kept getting longer and
straighter. Even miss hits went straight! They will be
permanently in the bag from now on."
Note: Advanced Golf donates clubs to certain golf
programs. Paul S. had access to the Supernovas because of a
donation to the school. We do not ask for any type of
endorsement in return. We just want to make sure the team
has the latest and the best equipment available to them.
Jim C. of So California, "I have a natural slice, so I
have been hitting a offset driver for most of my golfing
life. Asked to try a Supernova 3Wood I was skeptical,
knowing it had no offset and could not be as long as my
driver. Being shorter and having more loft I know I can hit
a three wood with little slicing issues. When hitting the
Supernova 3Wood I knew it was long the moment the ball came
off the face. It was hot. It hit the ground at 220, and
rolled another 30yards. The best of it was, it was
repeatable. For me 250 was a great drive. I hit the 3Wood
off the tee as much as it calls for."
Anthony So. Cal. Scratch Golfer They say the "sweetest
feel in golf" is when you hit your driver dead square and
hard. It is supposed to be the sweetest feeling. But, I say
the "Sweetest feeling in Golf" is when you hit your
Supernova 3 Wood square and hard, and it goes farther then
your $500.- driver! Now that's sweet...Like Butta!"
